The perfect social media post

Perfection in life and on social media is an illusion that people pay for heavily both financially and mentally.

We are led to believe we can find perfection with hard work, when in fact the reality is our lives revolve around natural progress and evolution.

So who is leading us to believe we should strive for something impossible to create?

It doesn’t matter in my opinion as these people drain our energy while eating up our finances.

Life is best lived and not worked at, by living life not rushing life we always develop and progress based on knowledge and learned experiences.

As we develop and progress we meet those who collaborate and support us. Rather than those who suggest we are here to compete to get to the top.

Looking at those who reach their summit, it’s a very lonely place and also if you reach the top and view yourself and what you do as perfect what do you do next — boredom soon sets in.

The people on the planet who live long and peaceful lives aren’t in a rush to find an answer.

I think we all know people searching for answers rather than creating them, this is really worth more reflection.

I’ve been social networking globally since the early 1980s and through the early years never saw as many people as I do now who are desperately looking to be validated and applauded for every breath they take.

Back then like now I was interacting with people who were listening and learning all the time, not hell bent on proving they were better than everyone else [that’s not to say they didn’t exist, they were far less in number].

Life and social media in my mind should be like skating or surfing, where you fail only because you challenge and push yourself in what you can achieve.

There is no perfect social media post like there are no social media experts, as it’s changing every second nobody can genuinely say they are expert on something so varied.

I always advise slowing down to speed up, don’t hustle as it’s a hassle and collaborate don’t compete.

This helps me live my life rather than try and work in replicating other lives.

Always be YOU but remember it’s not about YOU.
