Bootcamp challenges and how I have adapted in the last few weeks

This boot camp has not only been a school to me but also where to learn to adapt to respond to new situations. During these few weeks that I have been busy trying to shape my skills in software development, I had to learn how to adapt and overcome every challenge that I faced.

During this boot camp, I have been experiencing a lot of obstacles and it was too hard to adapt since it was my first time. For the first week, I had to create the user interface and once done I could think I was done but every time I consulted my LFA, I had to repeat many features in order to make them perfect. Redoing the work very often was a challenge to me because I had to meet the deadline that is scheduled.

When creating endpoints I have had many bugs that took me time fix and could find myself late for submission sometimes however I had to apply the Andela principle of collaboration there was a time where everyone was busy doing his work, and none could help.

Another challenge that I had was connecting to the database, As had to use Postgres, which I had not tried before, I had many issues to connect to the database so I had to uninstall and install again to make sure that it works fine.

Every day that I spent, I learned a new way to adapt to the situation in order to avoid the same mistakes that I did the last day. however each day comes with its challenges, I managed to organize my work through collaboration. Working in groups has helped me to finish some tasks that I couldn’t finish working alone.

With hard work and passion, I had to put much love in what I do and never give on the work but try to find a way to learn and understand faster. Asking questions to my teammates was my habit and I kept reading a lot every aspect that I could not understand.

All the above challenges stated above helped me to manage my time in case I have a lot of work to do. I have also learned to collaborate because no one knows everything. I realized that through collaboration, I could learn faster than when I am alone.
