You chose to believe and I did not

Now I’m quite happy but you’re still distraught

All of your friends told you “We must Resist!”

The man’s a misogynist fascist we Insist!

They’ll tell you anything to get you to Follow

Though all their accusations turn out to be Hollow

And now here you are, grasping flat-earth hyperbole

While I read bemused at your misplaced intensity

Your resistance and all that it says I resist

You repeaters of lies! It’s time to desist
